Job Title: Real Estate Account Handler

Your new role as a Real Estate Account Handler will be working for one of the world's largest Lloyd's Broker and risk management companies. Within this, they have an international broking division - a division that is headquartered in London and covers territories outside the United States stretching from the UK to Australia, from Canada to the Caribbean, and from Latin America to Asia, employing more than 7000 staff. Your new brokers benefit from significant international and UK reach with a global network that can offer client service capabilities in more than 100 countries. Due to the growth within their UK Real Estate division, your new brokers are looking for an established Property Owners/Real Estate Account Handler to work as part of their established Real Estate team.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing client accounts during the renewals process, including admin, presentations, negotiating premiums, and managing all paperwork.
  • Working in partnership with Account Executives to deliver the needs of clients.
  • Building renewal documents, reports, balancing midterm adjustments, and crafting new quotes for customers.
  • Ensuring client details are recorded accurately, providing cover by renewal date, assisting clients with queries daily, confirming cover with insurers, processing policies, and chasing up outstanding documentation when required.
  • Managing all account queries and credit control matters, as well as preparing underwriting information for presentations to insurers.
  • Designing and delivering presentations as required.
  • Following up on new and existing renewal business quotations.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Previous experience working as a Real Estate / Property Owners Account Handler handling UK or European Property Owners.
  • Progression towards Cert CII, Dip CII, or Advanced Dip CII.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to negotiate.
