Role Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents in line with agreed care plans.
- Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life, promoting their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
- Model best practice in care delivery and contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home.
- Assist residents with all aspects of their care needs, including physical, emotional, and spiritual support.
- Contribute to the daily records of residents and participate in effective teamwork.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults in your care.
- Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment is preferred.
- Care certificate or equivalent, or a willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
- Good knowledge of care practice, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application in a residential/nursing setting.
- Ability to work in a team and demonstrate self-motivation and confidence.
