Sales Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team at The Sure Group. As a Sales Administrator, you will provide administrative support to our sales team, ensuring seamless order processing, accurate stock levels, and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with processing orders, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records in Excel.
  • Cold Calling: Engage with potential clients through outbound calls to generate new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Tender Management: Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell products to existing customers, maximizing sales and revenue.
  • Liaison with Orders Team: Collaborate closely with the orders team to ensure smooth order processing, accurate stock levels, and timely delivery of products.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records in Excel, including sales data, customer information, and order details.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all sales administration tasks are completed with high accuracy and in a timely manner, adhering to company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Experience in a similar sales administrative role is preferred, with a strong understanding of sales processes and customer service.
  • Cold Calling Experience: Comfortable making outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products and generate sales leads.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, especially in preparing tenders and processing orders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
