Job Title: Female Support Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team and provide personalized care and support to a young lady with cerebral palsy and other complex needs.
About the Role:
- Provide 2-1 care and support to the client 24/7, including flexible support during holidays and weekends.
- Enable the client to engage in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities, promoting independence and empowerment.
- Participate in a range of activities with the client, including hydrotherapy and outdoor pursuits.
- Assist with personal care, including full moving and handling.
- Work collaboratively with the Case Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure the client receives comprehensive care and support.
About You:
- Full, clean UK driving licence (experience of driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is desirable but not essential).
- Previous experience working with young adults with physical and cognitive impairments is essential.
- Dependable, professional, and honest, with a positive attitude and ability to motivate and engage.
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS and enrol in the DBS update service.
