Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our technical team at Austin Fraser.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating internal and external testing workloads with other team members.
  • Reviewing and verifying existing testing methods to ensure their applicability.
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment in good working order, performing timely maintenance and calibration tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety standards by correctly following risk assessments.

Requirements

  • A minimum degree-level qualification in chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably with materials testing experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, communicate, and report data clearly.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (experience based), as well as a range of benefits that make us an attractive employer in the North West region of the UK.
