Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in all off-track administration, including menu writing and costing, to ensure alignment with food budgets.

Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence, maintaining the high standards of the operation.

Provide motivation and support to the culinary team, working collaboratively and taking individual initiative.

Uphold the operation's standards by paying attention to detail, working consistently, and meeting deadlines.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and the internal team, ensuring effective communication.

Form part of the strategic team, contributing to the achievement of overarching project goals.

Scale up and adapt working styles between pre and post-event requirements, ensuring seamless delivery.

Budget and Finance

Assist with sourcing and purchasing ingredients and food for successful trackside operations.

Accurately track all event-related spend, including food, labor, and kitchen equipment.

Follow company finance processes for POs, receipts, and supplier invoices.

Maintain knowledge of global seasonal ingredients and food costs.

Strategy

Work closely with the Head Chef to shape the F&B strategy, including adapting to local food trends and implementing hospitality trends.

Act as an ambassador for Absolute Taste, ensuring excellent client and guest experiences.

Assist in developing innovative and creative menus, considering local specialties and availability.

Uphold client directives regarding team identity, including look and feel and food offering.

Onsite

Attend all F1 races and test events, setting up and packing down to correct standards and guidelines.

Act as a key member of the event delivery team, ensuring culinary outputs meet high standards and timelines.

Monitor stock levels and waste management, reporting accurately.

Ensure all allergen documents are completed and up to date.

Other

Assist with maintaining packing lists for kitchen equipment and supplies, alongside the logistics team.

Support continuous improvement and implementation of processes for smooth event running.

Attend post-event debriefs, ensuring lessons are learned and applied.

Be organized, punctual, motivated, and possess varied communication skills, including formal and informal communication.

Be conversant with all company codes of conduct.
