Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Jones Bootmaker. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that our store meets its sales targets and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a footwear or fashion industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
