City Pub Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Winchester. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our stylish, wet-led pub.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience working in a pub environment. As a successful Assistant Manager, you will have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a proactive approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic and driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Drive sales growth and improve profitability in the pub
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team knowledge and skills
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure the pub operates within budget
  • Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere

What We Offer Our Assistant Managers:

We offer a competitive salary range of £28,000-£35,000, dependent on experience and the number of hours you wish to work per week. This is a live-out position, and we are looking to onboard the successful candidate in October, although this is flexible for the right candidate.
