Job Title: HSE Manager

At Shorterm Group, we are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in all aspects of personal safety, health, and environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective HSE management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing HSE team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of HSE objectives.
  • Collaborate with site management teams to establish a safe and healthy work environment, free from risk of accidents and unsafe working conditions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to evolve the site to sustainable Platinum Safran standards.
  • Ensure clear and transparent governance, reporting, and communication to all senior leadership, including Group interfaces.
Requirements:
  • Educated to at least Level 3 (AS/A Level or Level 3 qualification), ideally relevant degree level 2:2 or above.
  • Corporate membership of IOSH by examination.
  • NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent, is required as a minimum.
  • Significant Health, Safety & Environment experience in an operations environment, ideally within the engineering/production environment.
  • Chemical processing knowledge and experience of managing a COMAH regulated site.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
