Palliative Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Unit at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, specialist end-of-life care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care using evidence-based guidelines.
- Provide medicines management, including administering regular medications and setting up syringe drivers and IV medication.
- Maintain high standards of care delivery by working collaboratively within regulatory body standards and the Sue Ryder Quality Governance Policy.
- Act as an ambassador of Sue Ryder to service users and their relatives, colleagues, and members of the public.
- Have a good general knowledge of computer-based systems, including SystmOne.
- Maintain all records in line with policies and procedures.
- Support students on placement at the hospice.

Leckhampton Court is a Sue Ryder Hospice and is the only specialist palliative care unit in Gloucestershire. We support patients with life-limiting conditions to live the fullest life they can in both the inpatient unit as well as out in the local community, in people's homes.
