Azets, a top ten accountancy firm in the UK and number one largest SME practice, seeks an exceptional Digital Transformation Leader to drive innovation in its accounting services. This strategic role will play a pivotal part in shaping the company's digital strategy, fostering collaboration across departments, and delivering cutting-edge solutions that exceed client expectations.

About the Opportunity:

As a key member of the ABAS team, you will be responsible for leveraging technology to create best-in-class digitally enabled service models for clients and colleagues alike. Your expertise will guide the development of innovative products and services, aligning them with the overarching AUK digital strategy. You will also serve as an advocate for change, driving adoption and adherence to technology-enabled processes throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the digital suppliers and market leaders in the accountancy and profession to inform the evolution of ABAS services and delivery models.
  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and alignment with the overall AUK digital strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the ABAS elements of the UK digital roadmap, including new digitally enabled products and services, and the digitization of existing services.
  • Foster a culture of digital enablement, both internally and externally, through advocacy and collaboration.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to position Azets as a market leader in digitally enabled client services.
  • Strategically manage key 3rd party software relationships that underpin our ABAS digital client service, identifying synergies with the digital strategy and adjusting course as needed.
  • Oversee the Digital Success Team (DST), responsible for supporting internal colleagues and clients, driving process improvements, and developing digital skills within ABAS.
  • Responsible for maintaining ABAS Azets Way SOPs & Training Materials, leading DSTs to deliver structured training, and monitoring adoption and adherence to technology-enabled processes.
  • Liaise with the M&A integration team to lead ABAS Process & Technology Integration plans.
  • Ensure deployment, usage, and maintenance of internal ABAS technology conforms with the UK data strategy and policy.

What We're Looking For:

  • A professional accountancy qualification or experience preferred but not essential.
  • Qualification or experience in successful development and internal deployment of digitally enabled services and products within a complex B2B & B2C professional or financial services market.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with superior oral and written communication.
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the company and its staff members.
  • Experience with matrix organizations.
  • Confidence in your capability, but open-minded enough to welcome and evaluate feedback from all levels of the organization.
