At Abbott, we're looking for a Territory Manager to join our Abbott Diabetes Care Sales team. As a Territory Manager, you'll drive sales in the Birmingham/Solihull area by executing our national strategy and engaging with healthcare professionals, key customers, and patients in target CCGs/Health Boards, ICS's, and PCN's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account plans to increase Abbott Diabetes Care sales & market share.
  • Build effective partnerships with target accounts by matching Abbott's solutions and value-added services to identified customer needs.
  • Implement local guidelines and pathways, and maximise guidance / formulary pull through via the upgrade of target patient cohorts to the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring system.
  • Develop and leverage customer advocacy for Abbott and its brands with key consultants, DSNs, clinical leads, payer customers, and patient / patient associations.
  • Work with local Abbott colleagues to develop and execute account plans to increase Abbott Diabetes Care sales & market share.
  • Engage in the field to drive patient acquisition, sales, and awareness of the Abbott Diabetes care products and associated digital ecosystem across target accounts.

Required Education & Background:

  • Further or higher education qualification.
  • Sales experience with strong selling skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Negotiating skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
