About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Bellway Homes. As a key member of our construction department, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Develop and implement construction strategies and plans to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer care, to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor and control construction costs, ensuring that they are aligned with business objectives and that value for money is achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies, and that all construction activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the construction process is smooth and efficient.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of construction professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications, such as a HND in Construction or a Level 7 Construction NVQ.
