They will be responsible for leading a team of management accountants and ensuring the smooth delivery of management accounts to tight deadlines.

The role will involve working closely with the business to identify key financial drivers and providing insights to inform business decisions. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years' experience in management accounting and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a people management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of management accountants to deliver high-quality financial information to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business to identify key financial drivers and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of management accounts to tight deadlines
  • Provide coaching and development to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure the smooth delivery of financial information to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years' experience in management accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a people management role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
