We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Analysis Expert to join our team in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of up to £55,000.

This exciting opportunity requires someone with extensive experience in financial performance analysis. You will be working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner to maintain and obtain data to support divisional management decisions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Financial Performance Analysis: Provide detailed analysis and insights to inform business decisions. Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive financial models.
  2. Reporting and Insights: Interpret and present financial data with clarity and precision. Identify trends and patterns in financial results and provide actionable recommendations.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts. Monitor and report on financial performance against plans.
  4. Fiscal Management: Maintain timely and accurate recording of financial data. Produce and review quarterly VAT returns. Ensure annual audits are completed quickly, providing all required evidence.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the accounting process. Implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of financial reporting.

You'll need to have:

  • Extensive experience in financial performance analysis, with high standards, accuracy, and presentation.
  • Detailed knowledge of balance sheet controls and reconciliations.
  • Experience preparing basic management and statutory accounts.
  • A proactive problem solver with ability to analyse complex data and see trends/patterns in results.
  • Mixture of analytical, commercial, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with ability to manipulate data from other sources for presentation to managers.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to meet exacting deadlines.
