Job Description
Key Responsibilities- Supervision and Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing assistants and student nurses.
- Patient Health Checks: Conduct health checks for newly registered patients and those aged 75 and above.
- Immunisations and Injections: Administer immunisations, injections, and vaccinations as required.
- Screenings and Testing: Perform screenings, including lipids, blood pressure, cervical smears, and other essential tests.
- Clinic Support: Assist with clinics for various conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, menopause, warfarin, minor surgery, contraception, and more.
- ECG and Spirometry Testing: Conduct ECG and Spirometry testing, cervical smear testing, and venepuncture as needed.
- Health Promotion: Maintain health promotion literature and information for patients.
- Stock Management: Manage medical supplies stock, including stock control.
- IT Systems: Input information onto the practice clinical system and use it for patient searches, clinic management, and recall notifications.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
