**Role Overview**

We are seeking a proactive and organised Impact Facilitator to work with leading scientists across the School of Biological Sciences, helping them to understand, value and deliver research impacts beyond academia.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Identify, articulate and support opportunities for impact in areas including entrepreneurship, technology transfer, commercialisation, policy impacts and third sector engagement.
  • Work closely with the Research Strategy Team in the School of Biological Sciences to develop a strong impact culture.
  • Administer the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences (BBSRC) Impact Acceleration Account.
  • Develop impact projects with academic staff and facilitate academic impact planning for large impact and knowledge exchange funding applications.

**Requirements**

  • Experience and understanding in the mechanisms of delivering research impact.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish productive working relationships with academic, research and professional services colleagues.

**Working Arrangements**
