Room Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Room Leader to join our team at Kido. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our children. Your expertise and passion for Early Years education will be instrumental in shaping the learning experiences of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Early Years educators in planning and delivering engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Kido curriculum.
  • Take ownership of your room, ensuring that learning outcomes are met and exceeded, and that the unique needs of each child are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for assessing and recording children's progress and achievements.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive nursery culture that values diversity, equity, and excellence.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in Early Years education and to enhance your skills and knowledge.

  • A competitive salary range of up to £31,000 for full-time, 40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • A relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum.
  • Experience as a Level 3 Educator and/or Room Leader/Deputy Room Leader.
  • The right to work in the UK.
