Room Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team at Kido Nursery & Preschool Battersea. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that caters to the unique needs of each child, while driving the growth and development of your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of educators to plan, organize, and execute engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Kido curriculum.
  • Take ownership of your room, transforming learning outcomes into inspiring classroom experiences.
  • Ensure the educators in your classroom take ownership of observing and assessing their key children, and support them in setting goals for each child.
  • Be a role model for excellence, accountable for your team following standards and driving the growth, development, and progress of your team.

Requirements
  • A relevant childcare qualification, level 3 minimum.
  • Experience as a Level 3 Educator and/or Room Leader/Deputy Room Leader.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to undergo an Enhanced DBS and barred lists check.
