AWE Plc is currently recruiting for a Senior Facility Specialist to join our Nuclear Risk Management team within our Estates & Liabilities function.
This role is ideal for a facilities manager with a strong understanding of ensuring compliance in a highly regulated, nuclear licensed environment.
As a Senior Facility Specialist, you will play a vital part in monitoring compliance and supporting the team with Periodic Review submissions and shortfall management.
You will lead collaboration with relevant stakeholders to capture, monitor, visualise and champion continuous improvement activities relating to the Nuclear Risk Management programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver workplace solutions within a highly regulated environment.
- Influence key stakeholders to adopt new ways of working.
- Monitor compliance and support the team with Periodic Review submissions and shortfall management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, monitor, visualise and champion continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Experience of successfully leading, motivating and managing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders.
- High hazard facility and process safety management experience.
- Understanding of nuclear safety, principles of the safe operating boundary, operating instructions, linking documentation and quality systems.
