About the Role

AWE Plc is seeking a Senior Facility Specialist to join its team at AWE Aldermaston. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering a workplace environment that is safe, secure, and compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver facility management activities to ensure maximum facility availability every day.
  • Act as the key interface between the facilities team, projects, residents, and other business functions/stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure safety and compliance aspects are delivered in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.

Requirements

  • IOSH certification is a minimum requirement, with NEBOSH preferred (or recognised equivalent Health and Safety qualification).
  • Prior facility, health and safety, and relevant management experience is essential.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, maintain high effectiveness in a multitask role, and deliver to challenging timescales.
  • Decision-making skills, excellent communication, presentational, and negotiation skills are required.
