We're seeking a talented Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team at Starling Bank. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, implementing, and managing strategic work streams of improvements. This role focuses on pinpointing root cause and collaborating across the business to reach the best solution for our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage work streams end to end, from identifying the issue, designing the solution through to implementation.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, root cause analysis, and issues.
  • Act as Operations lead on various initiatives and coordinate with the rest of the business areas to shape and influence the delivery of change.
  • Help define and execute the operational strategy to support our growth.
  • Create operating models, processes, and controls for all aspects of Operations.
  • Review and maintain Confluence pages and other sources of information on a regular basis.
  • Communicate changes and updates clearly and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • A self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Passionate about customer service and process improvement.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence at a senior level.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization, in an environment where things change regularly.
  • A positive can-do attitude and experience collaborating and engaging with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience designing and implementing policies and processes that have been scalable.
  • A background in creating and delivering messages to wide audiences would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills.
