We are seeking a skilled Clinical Healthcare Assistant to join our Community ENT and Minor Surgery Clinics in Leicestershire. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist medical staff during consultations, examinations, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical environments, ensuring sterilization and readiness of instruments.
  • Support patient positioning and draping during procedures.
  • Accurately label specimen bottles.
  • Assist with patient preparation, including explaining processes and obtaining consent.
  • Provide post-procedural care and instructions to patients and families.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in ENT or minor surgery.
  • Current mandatory training, including Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with electronic patient record systems and certifications in ENT or minor surgery assistance are preferred but not required.
