Our Finance Team plays a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations, and we're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant.
The RoleAs a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be an integral part of our Accounts Payable team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential support to internal teams and suppliers. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient processing of invoices and resolving queries, contributing directly to the success of our finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process a high volume of purchase ledger invoices while meeting set KPI targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth processes.
- Liaise with suppliers to provide excellent customer service and resolve any invoice or account discrepancies.
- Assist with supplier statement reconciliations and support month-end and year-end processes.
- Answer supplier telephone queries in a professional and confident manner.
- Support process improvements and drive efficiencies within the Accounts Payable team.
- Perform additional ad hoc duties as required.
- Essential Requirements:
- AAT qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in a Purchase Ledger role.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for teamwork.
- Desirable Skills:
- Experience with SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables.
