We are seeking a highly skilled trauma care specialist to join our team at Salford Royal Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified staff nurse to work in the new Greater Manchester Major Trauma Hospital, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our highly motivated workforce.

About the Role

As a trauma care specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patient care needs, developing and implementing programs of care, and evaluating their effectiveness. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex injuries.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in our enhanced care unit, which provides specialized care to patients with complex trauma injuries. You will also have access to education and development opportunities to help you progress in your career.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess patient care needs and develop programs of care that meet their individual needs.
  • Implement and evaluate programs of care, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex injuries.
  • Participate in education and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum (37.5 hours per week). We offer a competitive salary package, including benefits such as annual leave, pension scheme, and health insurance.

Requirements
  • NMC Registration.
  • Current experience working as a registered nurse in the UK or equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
