Trading Application Support Engineer - Equity Volatility

Quant Capital is seeking a skilled Trading Application Support Engineer to join their team in London. As a key member of the trading team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for trading applications, including market data and desktop technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain trading applications, including market data and desktop technology
  • Respond to technical issues and manage them until resolution
  • Write technical documentation and knowledge base articles to document problems and resolutions
  • Contribute to the improvement of current technology and future deployments
  • Identify and automate processes within infrastructure and trading
Requirements:
  • Experience in Equities Front Office Application Support
  • Experience within the last year at a bank, broker, or Buy Side Institution
  • Computer Science or STEM degree
  • Experience in trade floor support of trading applications
  • Familiarity with PC hardware and software troubleshooting and deployment practices for desktops
  • Citrix Applications and Desktop support
  • Able to provide support to remote locations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016/365
  • Webex, Zoom, and Skype for Business support
  • Experience working with 3rd Party Vendors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
