About the Role

Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Manager - Events to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Events portfolio and supporting the Community, Events, Products team to achieve their long-term target of raising £15 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Events Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy to drive income growth and achieve the team's targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of fundraisers and provide guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to meet their targets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Form strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the charity to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Income Growth: Identify opportunities for income growth and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Marketing and Stewardship: Plan, implement, and drive forward the Events Team strategy with a focus on audience insight, portfolio management, marketing, and stewardship.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leadership of a team with a track record of achieving income targets.
  • Target Achievement: A track record of meeting targets across acquisition campaigns and stewardship journeys.
  • Line Management: Demonstrable experience in line management, with a focus on developing and supporting team members.
  • Influencing and Negotiation: Excellent skills in influencing and negotiation, with the ability to champion the team at an organizational level.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and team members.
  • Agency and Supplier Management: Experience of successfully managing agencies and suppliers, with a focus on driving value and achieving results.
  • Mass Participation and Community Programs: Experience of managing mass participation or community and events programs, with a focus on driving income growth and achieving targets.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: A competitive salary of £51,235 per annum, inclusive of regional weighting.
  • Full-time Contract: A full-time contract of 35 hours per week, with a 12-month fixed-term contract.
  • Hybrid Working: A hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days in the office and flexible working arrangements.
