Quality Technician Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join our team at The Sterling Choice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality-focused individual to contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality processes, including internal, supplier, and co-manufacturing quality.
  • Manage defect control, calibration, and material approval processes.
  • Support consumer complaint resolution and product quality standards.
  • Analyse data to drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and manage Quality Coordinators and Product Testers.

Requirements:

  • HND/HNC or equivalent in a science or materials-based discipline.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of packing materials, ISO 9000/22000 standards, and statistical analysis.
  • A data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
