Job Title: Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Healthshare Group. This is a part-time opportunity, with 8 hours of work per week, requiring travel to different sites in the North East and Yorkshire region.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of Musculoskeletal and General Ultrasound, including abdominal, gynaecological, urinary tract, thyroid, and testes imaging. However, we encourage applications from candidates with experience in some or most of these areas, as we provide opportunities for professional growth and development.

You will be working with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment and utilizing modern, user-friendly reporting software. Our team offers excellent support from experienced Sonographers, assistants, consultants, and administration staff.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and promoting the highest professional, technical, and ethical standards in Ultrasound through effective clinical governance.
  • Liaising with our team to ensure the highest quality of service to patients and clinicians.
  • Working effectively with all disciplines of staff to provide a comprehensive and effective high-quality ultrasound service.
  • Ensuring all targets and quality standards are achieved, supporting the Operations Manager in monitoring and updating imaging practice standards.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time position), depending on experience.
