Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Compliance Manager to join our team at The Caraires Consultancy Careers. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, as well as maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide financial planning and analysis support to the wider team, ensuring timely and accurate information is available to inform business decisions.
- Lead the month-end process, including reviewing and posting journals, purchase ledger, sales ledger, adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure month-end reports are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with the team to produce the monthly management accounts pack, including P&L, cashflow, balance sheet, and other management reports with financial analysis and comments as required.
- Work with budget holders on the cycle of budgeting and reforecasting, including setting up templates and working with budget holders to complete them, and finalizing them for senior management.
- Support the execution of all day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Proven experience in financial management and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
