Job Title: Senior Power Systems Technical Advisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a senior power systems technical advisor to join our team. This role would be based in a suitable location, with a flexible mixture of home-working and office collaboration time expected. We also welcome applicants wishing to work part-time.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver innovative and exciting projects from across the energy sector, either leading on these projects or providing valuable contributions alongside other subject matter experts.
Provide commercial, technical, and regulatory advice to clients across a range of different project types.
Summarize analysis and assessments into concise reports and present findings to clients via meetings and workshops.
Oversee work from engineers and graduate engineers from across the team in the delivery of projects, reviewing their work and providing appropriate guidance.

Requirements:

Degree qualified in electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards and regulatory/financial incentives for transmission and distribution network investment in GB.
Strong understanding and leadership of engineering projects through asset lifecycles.
Experience in regulatory and technical due diligence (vendor or buyer side) of transmission and distribution network assets.
Experience in the preparation or assessment of business plans for regulated utilities and/or innovation project developments.
