GE Aviation is seeking an experienced Power Systems Software Engineer to lead the implementation of advanced optimization-based applications for Electricity Markets (MMS) in our Services team. This role involves developing and optimizing software applications for electricity markets, including working on flow-based projects and market operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining power systems application software, including flow-based market projects.
  • Ensuring integration, tuning, results analysis, defect identification, and correction for power system applications, with a focus on optimization-based software for electricity markets.
  • Leading task planning, progress tracking, and budget monitoring for assigned projects.

Requirements

  • A PhD or Engineer's degree in power system or software engineering with a strong electrical background.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development and delivery.
  • Familiarity with energy market operations, such as flow-based market coupling and balancing markets, is an asset.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of €90,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
