As a key member of our team, the Electrical Power Systems Manager will play a vital role in delivering Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design services for energy transition, offshore wind, interconnectors and subsea cable projects.

The successful candidate will be accountable for providing technical expertise to ongoing projects, bids and proposals, as well as representing Xodus Group at client and stakeholder meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide inspirational line management, mentoring and leadership to the Electrical & Power Systems Engineering team.
  • Tendering and Project Delivery: Lead and provide Electrical & Power Systems Engineering input into tenders and project deliverables.
  • Engineering Deliverables: Lead Electrical & Power Systems Engineering deliverables through early-stage feasibility studies, preparation of project specifications, design review and assurance.
  • Project Assurance: Ensure projects and tenders are delivered in accordance with both Evolv Energies and Client engineering requirements while ensuring quality assurance throughout.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure necessary Electrical Engineering and technical resources are assigned to projects throughout tendering and delivery.
  • Innovation and Value Delivery: Ensure sound engineering practices and innovation are incorporated into designs to deliver value for our clients.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promotion and management of safety in design across our projects while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and effective delivery of CDM Principal Designer and Designer roles.

Our ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer with demonstrable Electrical Engineering expertise in the offshore wind and power transmission sectors, with a detailed understanding of engineering deliverables through Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design and across Construction and Installation activities.

We are offering a competitive salary of approximately £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible working, private medical insurance, cash plan benefits, pension, life insurance, income protection plan and employee assistance programme.
