  • Contract Type: Full-time (Term Time Only)(Temp to Perm)
  • Salary: £13/hr - £14/hr

Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating closely with teachers to cater to individual student requirements.
  2. Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
  3. Providing one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs
  4. Implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.

About School: Catering for children and young people aged 5 to 19 who have a range of complex and significant learning needs, Autism, Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
  • Minimum 1 yr of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
  • Right to Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
