Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is currently recruiting for a successful manufacturing company based in Cheadle who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Management Accountant and other members of the Finance team as required.
  • Accrue and pre-payments.
  • Assist in balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare VAT returns and submissions.
  • Post invoices.
  • Assist the Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Assist with Asset Based Lender processes.
  • Support the Finance Team with any requirements.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of month-end duties and working knowledge of MS Excel. Effective communication skills at all levels, including stakeholders, are essential. The ability to work as part of a team and meet tight deadlines is also required.
