Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and administer Cisco Wireless, Cisco DNA, Cisco ISE, Infoblox, and Palo Alto firewalls and Proxy.
  • Manage and maintain Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Provide operational support and troubleshooting across Layer 2 and Layer 3 network concepts.
  • Work with network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and more.
  • Implement and manage network security principles, including VPNs, firewalls, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with IT specialists, service providers, and end-users to ensure smooth network operations.
  • Apply your understanding of structured cabling to support and enhance network infrastructure.
  • Use network monitoring tools to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance issues.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Cisco CCNA or Palo Alto PCNSA certificate.
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years' operational experience with Cisco Wireless, Cisco DNA, Cisco ISE, Infoblox, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco Wireless, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, and Palo Alto Firewalls (deployment and administration).
  • Good understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts.
  • Solid grasp of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF, as well as a strong understanding of LAN, WAN, and WLAN architectures.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues, diagnosing problems, and using network monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewalls and VPNs, to maintain a secure and reliable network.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience working in large, diverse organisations and dealing with users, specialists, and service providers.
