About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our Project & Programme Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our projects and programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Support: Provide high-quality project and programme management support across the whole project lifecycle, including project planning, risk management, and issue resolution.
  2. Client Advisory: Assist clients in advising on project cost, programme, risks, and issues, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  3. Team Coordination: Support the Project Manager in various tasks and coordinate multi-disciplinary professional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  4. Communication: Assist in communications and relationships with clients and their stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project.
  5. Reporting: Produce monthly reports, including project programmes, risk registers, and other relevant information to ensure that stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  6. Communication Tools: Implement effective and efficient communication tools to ensure that all team members and stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  7. Delivery Planning: Help develop delivery plans for projects, involve others, and ensure objectives are met, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  8. Performance Improvement: Challenge the status quo and perform to a high standard in changing environments, constantly pursuing performance improvement and excellence.
Requirements
  1. Education: Hold an accredited Degree in engineering, construction management, or other related field.
  2. Qualifications: Hold or be working towards a Project Management Qualification or aspirations to become Chartered with APM, CIOB, RICS, ICE, or similar.
  3. Experience: Experience in supporting and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  4. Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with multiple types of stakeholders with a diverse range of personalities across our client base.
  5. Knowledge: Knowledge of pre- and post-contract project management responsibilities and able to deliver this service effectively to clients, with experience with the NEC suite of contracts being advantageous.
