About the Role
As a Community Carer - Weekend Driver, you will be working in a highly rewarding role, enabling individuals to stay in their own homes. You will provide outstanding personal care and support to clients living in the local community, helping to maintain their independence and wellbeing.
About You
- You will be a naturally kind, patient, and compassionate person, able to put a smile on clients' faces.
- Great communication and listening skills are essential to enable you to listen to clients' stories.
- You will be committed to delivering excellent customer service, going the extra mile to remember the little things.
- You will be respectful of the dignity and privacy of others, visiting their homes and meeting their family and friends.
- You will be able to work on your own initiative with a great sense of humour, no two days will be the same.
- Timekeeping skills are paramount, clients like to know they can rely on you.
- No formal care experience is required, lived experience and personal qualities are much more important.
- A driving licence and your own vehicle are essential due to the individuals you will be supporting and the distance between them.
Hours
You will be working on a rolling basis, with the following hours:
- Week One: Saturday 7am - 2pm
- Week Two: Saturday 7am - 2pm, Sunday 7am - 2pm
Job Benefits
- Contracted hours
- 45p mileage allowance and 1 hour pay for every 20 miles travelled between clients
