About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Financial Analyst to join our team at Workingmums. As a key member of our Cost Control team, you will play a critical role in providing financial support and advice to our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial support and advice to customers and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
  • Supervise, maintain, and operate financial systems and processes, adapting to changing environments.
  • Resolve problems to ensure development and production timescales are met across projects.
  • Provide a helpline to internal and external customers, offering expert financial guidance.
  • Effective liaison with other functions involved in projects, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Analyzing data, updating spreadsheets, graphs, and reporting packs to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Relevant information knowledge or experience on major capital investment programs.
  • Significant experience of working with stakeholders across multiple functions and grade structures.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience of undertaking data analysis and interpretation of financial information.
  • Working towards an AAT qualification.

Our Cost Control team is responsible for providing assured costing data for each of the parties, supporting annual and quarterly costing exercises for the UK premier defense program. You will support the team by ensuring costs are identified, managed, and controlled, and aiding the production of financial reporting requirements.
