Job Summary

UKCIL is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a young man with mobility, vision, and learning impairments. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative, domestic, and social skills, with a passion for gaming, radios, and dogs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to enable the individual to remain independent
  • Assist with meal preparation, domestic duties, and cooking
  • Engage in social and leisure activities, including gaming and listening to radios
  • Transport the individual to appointments and activities, using a full UK driving license and own personal car
  • Administer medication safely and in accordance with guidelines

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license and own personal car
  • Ability to drive a motability-equipped car
  • Excellent administrative, domestic, and social skills
  • Passion for gaming, radios, and dogs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours

The role will require some overnight shifts and a clean driving license is essential. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 37 hours per week.
