Job Title: Application Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Manager to join our dynamic team at Team ITG. As a key member of our information security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our systems and data from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents with a sense of urgency
  • Establish and implement security policies and protocols to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information and proprietary technology
  • Collaborate with Dev Ops, Cloud Ops, and development teams to ensure all systems and applications are functioning securely and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Review regular vulnerability assessments and develop remediation plans to address identified risks and vulnerabilities
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and ensure their services and products meet required standards when integrated
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, technologies, and regulations in the industry
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure alignment of security efforts with wider business objectives
Requirements:
  • Cybersecurity and/or technology-related certifications
  • At least 4 years of experience in information security or a related technology role
  • Strong knowledge of security policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Understanding of network protocols, ethical hacking, and security testing methodologies
  • Experience in analysis and reporting on systems such as SAST, DAST, Pen testing, and SDLC
  • Experience in authentication management and API security requirements
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST/SOC 2 reporting
  • Knowledge of OWASP, CVSS, and threat intelligence and modeling
  • Demonstrated experience of incident management processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
