We are seeking an experienced Design Assurance Associate to join our project office, working closely with the FutureWater joint venture and other project partners. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a significant project that will run until at least 2030, with potential extensions.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location of the project is in the South East region of England.

Job Description

As a Design Assurance Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the Engineering Lead in the design assurance process. This will involve organizing meetings, taking minutes, tracking review responses, forecasting, and regular reporting of the assurance process. You will also be required to track design reviews for the approval of Designs Submissions by the main works contractors and engage with colleagues and stakeholders to secure their engagement and reporting back to the Engineering Lead.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Supporting the Engineering Lead in the design assurance process.
  2. Tracking design reviews and Design Submissions by the main works contractors.
  3. Engaging with colleagues and stakeholders to secure their engagement and reporting back to the Engineering Lead.
  4. Supporting and assisting the Engineering Lead in developing new systems and processes to improve the Engineering assurance function.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You should also have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and possess a good understanding of engineering principles and practices. A degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering or environmental science would be advantageous.
