About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to join our front office development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing a cross-asset platform that will sit across multiple desks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex systems using Java, with a focus on multithreading, concurrency, and event-driven systems.
  • Work closely with top Java Engineers and leading investment banks and hedge funds to build a high-throughput system.
  • Collaborate with the team to build a greenfield project that will be the forefront of our company's vision for the next 3 years.
  • Develop strong core Java skills and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing requirements.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Java development in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong Computer Science, Engineering (or a related subject) background.
  • Experience working in a front office environment.
  • Knowledge of trading systems and/or algorithmic trading.
  • Strong core Java skills: multithreading, concurrency, event-driven systems.
  • Exposure to complex systems, high-throughput systems.
