About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java software engineer to join our front office development team. As a senior Java software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Java software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain complex software systems using Java
  • Ensure software systems meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Java development in an enterprise environment
  • Strong computer science and engineering background
  • Experience working in a front office environment
  • Knowledge of trading systems and/or algorithmic trading
  • Strong core Java skills: multithreading, concurrency, event-driven systems
  • Exposure to complex systems, high-throughput systems
