Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre team at Upton Hospital in Slough. As a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adults with neurological, orthopaedic, and cognitive difficulties.
Main Duties
- Assist patients throughout the rehabilitation process, providing personalized care plans and additional support as needed.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient goals and outcomes.
- Contribute to the administrative duties of the therapy rehabilitation service, including data inputting and maintaining stock.
- Complete tasks delegated by therapists, ensuring seamless delivery of care.

Requirements
- NVQ level 3 in healthcare or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience within a therapy setting.
- Car driver with access to a car for work purposes.
- Ability to participate in a 6-day rota.
Person Specification
Education/Qualifications/Training
- NVQ level III in healthcare or equivalent.
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
- Relevant In-Service training attendance.
Previous Experience
- Experience within a Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy department, with an understanding of relevant work procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Good use of initiative and ability to take responsibility.
- Positive attitude to rehabilitation.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good IT skills.
- Organised, efficient, and able to make good use of time.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel to multiple sites.
- Car driver with access to a car for work purposes.
- Flexible approach to work, able to participate in a 7-day rota as necessary.
