About the Role

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our Children's SLT Service Early Years Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with communication difficulties and disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy interventions to children with communication difficulties and disorders
  • Work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to develop and implement therapy plans
  • Liaise with other agencies and disciplines to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
  • Participate in best practice initiatives and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for other professionals

Requirements:

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field
  • HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Experience working with children and adults with communication difficulties and disorders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Salary: £35,745 - £43,857 per annum (depending on experience)
