Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at CV-Library. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, providing expert fault finding and advice to customers, and ensuring the smooth operation of various FM systems.

The successful applicant will have experience in planned maintenance, fault finding, and diagnosis, with excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues to customers. A salary of £82,000 per annum, plus an additional 8% site allowance (£3,206 per annum), a night shift allowance of up to £5,000 per annum pro rata, and 22.5 days annual leave is offered.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
  1. Acting as a role model for safety, setting an example to colleagues and customers.
  2. Maintenance of electrical systems.
  3. Expert fault finding and providing advice and guidance to customers in relation to M&E equipment.
  4. Understanding all plumbing such as replacing taps, sinks, cistern filling/flush units and heating elements.
  5. Understanding and knowledge of general building fabric repairs to maintain the standard of the building.
  6. Supply knowledge in a range of technical situations, making personal judgments on how to undertake work to achieve quality, cost, and time objectives.
  7. Providing technical advice and guidance to other staff and customers to resolve problems.
  8. Delivery of Corrective and Planned Maintenance to meet the performance measures detailed in the contract.
  9. Liaising with customers' representatives on a day-to-day basis to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
  10. Checking and ensuring all appropriate and approved paperwork is completed.
  11. Making personal judgments on how to undertake work to achieve cost, quality, and contractual objectives.

About You
To be considered for this role, you must hold an Electrical certification such as the 18th Edition, have planned maintenance experience of electrical and mechanical systems, and experience in fault finding and diagnosis. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to customers are essential. Ideal but not essential qualifications include IPAF and MEWP training and comfort working at heights.
