Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Swindon. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 5-18.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on care and support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for support staff, promoting best practices and positive attitudes.
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of care plans to meet each child's needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years working in a care or supported living setting, ideally with children and young people.
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and relevant regulations.
