About the Role

Capita Health Assessment Advisory Service is seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Assessment Professional, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the health conditions and disabilities of individuals, providing comprehensive reports to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' health conditions and disabilities, using a range of evaluation methods, including paper-based, face-to-face, video, and telephone assessments.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of various health conditions and disabilities, staying up-to-date with the latest research and clinical guidelines.
  • Produce high-quality, comprehensive reports that accurately reflect the findings of each assessment, ensuring that they are clear, concise, and easy to understand.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure that assessments are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other), without restriction or conditions, and with a valid PIN.
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and dig deeper.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex clinical information and evidence.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to remotely access systems.
What We Offer
  • A competitive basic salary of £38,500, rising to £39,900 on achievement of remote approved status, and £41,500 on achievement of face-to-face delivery.
  • 25 days' holiday (rising to 27 after 5 years), with the opportunity to buy extra leave.
