About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to take on the role of Children's Home Registered Manager

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience leading within a residential home for children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Disorders (EBD).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Vetro Recruitment, a leading provider of recruitment services for the health and social care sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of care and support to young people through the provision of leadership, direction, and management of the residential children's service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the residential children's service
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the service
  • Manage and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Ensure the service is compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
Requirements
  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management or currently undertaking (Children's Services)
  • Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent
  • Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position for a minimum of 2 years
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment
  • Full UK driving licence
